For me, in art as with jewelry, “details make the difference!”  This explains simply why my art has to be Selective Lady Art, a combining of techniques and special materials to create unique pieces that evoke delight. 

     In 2017, my creative juices reached flood stage and just kept flowing, making that year pivotal for my art career.

     My endeavors went next level when the jewelry store owner  where I worked began displaying my art in her store.   The very moment the store owner saw it, she grabbed a hammer and nails and began displaying my art.  She said, “People have got to see this!”  In essence, I enjoyed my own private gallery of sorts.  As a result my pieces now reside in homes and businesses across the country.

     Every piece I make – a painting or piece of décor -  is designed to reflect light, color, and dimension.  I use differing types of resin depending on the project, mixing acrylic paints and inks, alcohol ink, an array of pigments, gel stain, glass, gemstones, faux gems, and many other materials to create intriguing décor. 

      When a client looks at one of my paintings or a piece of décor and excitedly says, ’this is SO me,’ it lets me know I’ve identified with something in that person’s soul.  I'm inspired by what I find in nature; and by colors and forms.  I want each piece of art I make to be a source of joy to see and use.

     To this end, I strive to continually expand my knowledge, skills and materials to make each creation exceptionally special.

     Currently, my work is available through this website by commission and DM.  Fees vary depending on the time and materials required for each.  Quotes are available by request.
